Why join Henry Baptist Church?
We believe the church was God's idea. It's the body of Christ, bought by Christ, and made up of followers of Christ. This body isn't something we just attend, it's something we invest in, connect with, and devote our lives to. Becoming a member at Henry is how we say "This is MY church!"
requirements for membership
In order to be a member at Henry Baptist Church, the following three things are necessary
Salvation
In order to be a member of the body of Christ, each person must be saved how the Bible teaches - by faith alone in the free gift of salvation made possible by Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross.
Baptism
After salvation, baptism identifies a Christian with Christ and is an outward sign of an inward decision. In order to be a member of Henry, each person must be baptized by immersion after salvation.
Discovery Class
Choosing a church is a big decision! We want to make sure we're the right fit for you. In order to be a member of Henry, each person must complete our Discovery Class where we tell you about us and get to know you.

Our three step process to learn about, join, and plug into ministry at Henry
STEP 1: Discovery Class
This one-session class is an informative, interactive gathering that allows you to discover the joy of belonging to our family at HBC. Lunch for your family is included. (reservation required)
STEP 2: Development Class
A 5-week process designed to help you identify your unique temperament and spiritual gift mix. We want to help you identify and personalize your "mission in the great commission!"
STEP 3: Discipleship Class
A 10-week small group experience that equips you with a reproducible strategy for discipling your friends.
